The Grandview’s office hours are:

Saturday: 9:00 am to 12:00 noon (closed in low season May- Oct)

Tip– if you are arriving early pack some swimwear/shorts in your carry on. If the condo is not ready until 3 pm (we do our best to get you in asap) you can then still enjoy the beach and pool without rummaging through bags.

Please remove all garbage, run the dishwasher and drop off the keys at the office.

We kindly ask that you sign out of any personal streaming accounts and leave TV connections as you found them.

Getting here

If you are not renting a car, go to the front of the airport where there are plentiful regulated taxis available. There is usually a taxi concierge at the airport exit doors to help with taxis. We are a short 10-15 minute ride away and the cost is $25-$35 KYD. Most taxis will also take card & USD, check with the taxi concierge before getting into the car.

Drinking Water

Water Authority – Cayman and Cayman Water supply Grand Cayman with quality water. In the case of both companies, water is extracted from deep underground via a series of abstraction wells. The water in your condo is perfectly safe and good to consume from the tap and from your fridge as cooled water and ice.

Cribs, Rollaway Beds and High Chairs

The front office can provide cribs, rollaway beds, and high chairs upon request. We recommend you mention and reserve these items at the time of your reservation as we have only a limited supply, on a first come first serve basis and once the stock is depleted we need to hire these and the cost is passed onto the guest.

Baby equipment

We do provide some kids equipment such as cribs, high chairs and pack’n’play. We do not have strollers or car seats, they can be rented here.

Maid Service

Hotel-style maid service is provided to each condo based on reservation package. Typically one mid-week maid service is included in a 5 and 7-night stay however additional services can be provided for a fee. Maid service includes change of linens and towels, tidying up and refreshing the bathrooms but NOT a full condo housekeeping, NOT laundry and NOT pots and pans or a full kitchen’s worth of dishes.

Toiletries & Supplies

Every Grandview condo has a starter pack of pack of paper towel, laundry and dishwasher detergent . Tip – pack a few capsules of laundry and dishwasher detergent to save you from buying full boxes.

Toilet paper, tissues, trash bags are supplied.

Bathroom towels are supplied.

Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap and body lotion are supplied and replenished in the maid service.

All units have a hair dryer.

Laundry Facilities

Every Grandview condo is equipped with a washer and dryer. We do not have any other additional laundry facilities on the premises.

Beach Info

• Beach towels are provided in your condo.
• Beach chairs, loungers and umbrellas are on the beach for guest enjoyment.
• As a friendly reminder, please don’t reserve sun loungers and kindly take your belongings if you will be away for more than an hour.
• 600 feet of white sandy beach
• Water shoes are advised as our waterline is iron shore.
• Water temp is 76-84 degrees f.
• Large trees for shade and our famous Sea Grape Tree with a swing
• We have a limited amount of coolers, umbrellas and beach chairs that can be borrowed and are on a first come first serve basis.
• Whilst we do have sand toys for the little ones, beach toys and furniture, snorkels, paddle boards etc. you can rent them here.

Pet policy

We love pets but only resident owners are allowed to keep pets on property. Visitors, guests and tenants are not allowed to host or keep pets during their stay.

Banking

The nearest ATM banking machines are located within Kirk Supermarket and Tortuga Fine Wine and Spirits in the West Shore Plaza. Full banking centers for Butterfield Bank and Cayman National Bank can be found in Camana Bay.

Wi-Fi

The Grandview provides complimentary wireless internet throughout the property to our guests.

Concierge Desk

We do not have an official concierge desk, but we do have visitor information at the office and we’re more than happy to share our recommendations, favorite restaurants, activities & attractions.

Supermarkets & Grocery Stores

Kirk Supermarket is located 1 km to the South of the Grandview. It is an easy 10 to15 minute walk or a 4-minute car ride over.  They are open 6:30am – 9:30 pm Monday to Saturday. Please remember that most public stores, including supermarkets, are closed on Sundays and some holidays. See our grocery page for more details.

Gratuities

If you are particularly pleased with a service provider or housekeeper and would like to reward them, it is acceptable to do so upon departure either personally or through the front office.

Tennis & Pickleball Courts

Our property has one turf-surfaced tennis court located at the roadside directly in front of the office. We ask that you kindly use the sign-up sign located at the door of the tennis court entrance. It allows for one hour of play per day per condo. Our new pickleball court located behind the garages offers two play areas and is accessible with a combination code. Please reserve your slot by signing up on the sign by the court gate.

Telephones

Each unit has a direct dial telephone and phone number. Local calls and condo-to-condo calls are complimentary! Please contact the office at 1 (345) 945-4511 (from overseas) if you would like to know the phone number of your unit so that you can be reached while on vacation.

Electrical Outlets

Grand Cayman runs on a 120 volt electricity system with three-pin plugs. However, outlets can accommodate a two-pin American plug.

BBQ Grills

BBQ grills (gas) are available at the rear of the office building, between buildings 4 and 5 and also between buildings 7 and 8.
