It's nice and sunny today with a healthy wind ...  Pool get cleaned today.
To date we have not found evidence of any turtle nests on our beach as we have 3 nesting females and as you may or may not be aware they come back to the same place every year to lay their eggs if they are gonna lay.  We will keep you all posted but check out some random pics form the previous years turtle hatching's ....

A Cayman Islands Weekend ...
Well what a weekend!!!  Friday night I was in a fshion show for the Cayman Islands Olympic Fund Rasiing committee - check out their page on Facebook at CIOFC ...
Then went to the looby lounge of the Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman where we danced until the wee hours.  On Saturday I played golf at the Jack Nicklaus designed Britannia golf course - just 9 and played very well :)
Saturday night went out to the Bamboo Sushi restaurant which was amazing and then joined Kenesha for her birthday celebrations ...  what fun!  Sunday went Scuba diving with Cayman Marine Lab and had 2 amazing dives on the North wall and saw 3 eagle rays cruising out off the edge of the wall - WOW!!!  Some of the other divers were staying at the Ritz Carlton Grand Cayman and invited my friend Tom and I to play golf at the Ritz - Greg Norman designed course - which is reserved EXCLUSIVELY for Ritz guests and Owners and of course their guests ... ;) our lucky day.  I did not play very well but felt like a naughty teenager doing something wrong because I was playing at the Ritz.  Very Very nice ...
So phew - lots of rest Sunday night and now getting ready to go to meeting with the Minister of Tourism and then tonight I am goign to play my first live guitar songs at jam night at Havana club.

On Monday night I went out to dinner at Copper Falls and WOW did they exceed my expectations!!!!  The steak of course was superb and we tried this new wine that is made in Lebanon!!! - and it was DELICIOUS - we tried the 2000 and the 99 - and will have to try the 96 next time...  But the wow came around dessert time which I was not really keen for, so decided to ask for the impossible so I said that unless I could have Cadbury's whole nut chocolate I did not want dessert - ha ha ...

 Well about 10 minutes later Simone - pronounced Simon eh - comes to the table with a bowl of vanilla ice cream and YES whole nut chocolate sprinkled all over the top - he had gone to the nearby grocery store and bought the chocolate ...  Now that's a WOW and thanks to Frank, Dianne, Simone and the Copper Falls team.
